South Gloucestershire Show

Rounding up another successful season of breed classes in the BWCS calendar for 2023 was South Gloucestershire Show on Saturday 5th August, where exhibitors braved the rainy conditions to put forward a strong showing in every section.

Judged by Mr Keith Harding of the Templar herd, Leicestershire, it was the senior bull Castleton Ken from the Wright family, Powys, which took both the Male and Breed Championships on the day. The female section was headed up by Amaroo Pommery from Mrs R Pugh, St Helens, which took the Female and Reserve Breed Championship prizes after winning the class for heifer under 18 months of age.
